I recently had a small dissapointment with Launchers upon classing into Commando. I was happily suprised, however, when upon becoming tired of running around on the map for the better part of the day, I sat at landing post and the valley for about 3 hours with my launchers massively destroying packs of assaulting crusties! I found this quite amusing and was wondering if any of you veterans found that grinding is faster than questing? I honestly cant say because when i was questing to 15 i really hadnt tried grinding, nor was i looking at my exp bar upon questing. All i know is that i was getting loads of EXP while blowing up thrax by the handful.

Has anyone done any definite tests on wether questing or grinding is faster? I realize I have fun either way, and im not trying to speed up the process, I want to experience the game in full, but IMOz its much more fun to me when I can take care of a quest thats a few levels below me because I can concentrate on the story at hand rather than getting jumped and dieing frustratingly over and over when I get aggrod from a few miles away.

Anyway, thanks for reading, see you all on the battlefield.

If you find the right spots .. with good respawn rates .. and are able to keep the multipler at 250% ...

grinding is the way to go !

It all depends on HOW you complete quests but...

Coming down the Descent with 2 friends, it was hard for me to keep my multiplier up at 250% the whole time - these guys were around level 48 guardian and I was 44 Spy at the time - but I still managed to get about 300K in 15 to 20 minutes.

Last night I was doing collection mission in the Abyss and so i completed 3 quests in about 45 minutes - but I was out killing almost the whole time. The quests gave over 120K each but I probably made another 400K off the kills as well.

I also did a few quests while polymorphed yesterday - so I sneak in, dont kill anything, and just "use" a device or a terminal. This yeilds good quest exp but no kill exp and while slower is what allowed me to advance to the collection quests.

The game is very well put together so I think if you know what your doing, you don't have to grind - especially if you actually complete all the CP missions at least once. Still, I think Grinding is faster.
