Re:Order 66 Collection Title It was a very close race, but at the end of voting, Force Insensitive has barely kept the lead! Thank you all for voting, and to everyone who provided a suggestion for the title!
Ok, let me see if i got this right? My account with the 2 normal toon & Unlocked slot was on Bria. I then moved 1 normal toon to Radiant & the another 1 a couple months later, leaving the the Unlocked slot on Bria.
Now with the new proposal, I could /vacate the toon on Bria from being in the Unlocked slot making him a normal toon then /swapUnlockedSlot to one of the toons on Radiant. Now I would have one normal toon on Radiant & a Unlocked slot one, giving me the ability to have another toon on Radiant for a total of 3 toons on Radiant?
If this is correct, who do I have to /lovelongtime for this & how long till this goes live? I have sent so many tickets in on this specific issue & to see it coming true makes me /weeps tears of Enjoy.
Correct. Except the command you would use on Radiant is /occupyUnlockedSlot. No ETA on when/if this goes live. See my previous posts about this being a side project for me and the PTBs are under no obligation to ever release a side project to live. It's a wait and see.
Han Solo. He was being rude after we rescued him from the garrison in Mos Eisley... Oh the joy that was =P Even more fun was the fact that Wolf- and Pex seemed to be quoting the movies a few times.
That's some funny stuff. I'll defiantly will try to fit in the movie quotes if someone tosses one out and it fits the scene. If its just some non sequitur, I'll let it go.
I take it , it's gonna be ok to ask about technical stuff like IDE that's being used / how to read a Maya model in C++ / How to connect to a SQL db in C++ etc?
Those are great questions. They can be more technical or less technical, the more questions we have the better. We want to get everyone involved.
Right now, the collection/title system only supports the 1 title for a collection that's "titleable." It wouldn't be much work to add support for multiple selectable titles per "titleable" collection, for cases like this, so the players who complete the collection will be able to choose a title that's appropriate to the "archetype" of why the player did the collection in the first place. I passed the idea by Millbarge. If it gets done, (and that's a big *if*), it will probably work retroactively and those who have completed the collection will just see the additional titles available in the title drop down list. And I just got a reply from Millbarge, and he likes it, so hopefully, we can get the PTBs' buy-in and get this enhancement to the collection system tasked and scheduled.
I know this is asking alot, but can you see if you can make it a repeatable collection in which each time you repeat and finish it you can pick another title untill you have all of them.
The current collection system already supports doing something like that, although you wouldn't be able to pick and choose the title, but would be granted the additional title(s) as you complete more and more of the repeatable collection. It's really up to the designers if they want to implement a repeatable collection with this behavior. There would be a repeatable collection that you can complete over and over again. There would be another collection which would be used to keep track of how many times you completed the repeatable collection. In that tracking collection, each "slot" would be "titleable" and you earn the various "slot" in that tracking collection based on how many times you complete the repeatable collection. Something like 5 times for the "low tier" slot, 10 times for the "middle tier" slot, 20 times for the "high tier" slot, and 50 times for the "uber slot", again each slot with its own associated title.
It's actually more useful for providing a guarantee that the filename is unique. The screenshot1082 method is just a counter that wraps and is prone to overwriting previous images (which I believe the OP is complaining about.) But the real intention is that a date/time stamp guarantees the uniquess of the file on a given machine. But as you pointed out it does provide a little more meaning to the filename itself.
The counter now updates itself if that screenshot currently exists. So if you already have screenshot0001 - screenshot0020, the next screenshot will be screenshot0021. The counter used should be good up to 2,147,483,647.
Another was Leia along time ago was a good suprise for my Guild and Friends.
That character looks like the Emperor? He looks very tall.
in the EU at least, the Emperor liked to use a large size hologram, though it was usually just his face/head. Since SWG doesn't give pex that option, a larger than life Emperor seems the next good option.
In the movies and the books they talk about how the Emperor has a setting in the holos that increases the image size to intimidate other people while everyone else appears normal size. I didn't often do that because in SWG he just looks like a really big ghosty character, but it seemed worth trying.
