Blacksmithing / Iron Smelting
Iron Smelting skill is used to smelt iron ore into iron ingots, which Blacksmiths need to create iron objects. You can also sell iron ingots at a Blacksmith Shop. To smelt iron ore, you must stand next to a hot forge. If the forge isn’t going, double-click on the bellow next to it. That will heat the forge, which will stay hot for 1 minute. Double-click on the iron ore, then select the hot forge. After 6 seconds you'll be told whether you smelted it properly, or destroyed it. The odds of successfully smelting iron ore equals 14% + (Iron Smelting Skill / 2) + (Intelligence / 6). An iron ingot is worth 40, so you’ll get about 20 if you sell it at the Blacksmith Shop. Iron Forgers can forge iron ingots into iron items.
